Industrial Loft Retreat in a Re-Imagined Eco-Barn 

Welcome to your unique 2–4 bed industrial loft — an extraordinary stay inside a re-used, modernised agricultural building. This space blends industrial aesthetics with sustainable design, delivering comfort and style in equal measure. 

 

Sleeping & Layout 

  •  The loft features a king-size bed on the mezzanine, giving you a private main sleeping area overlooking the double-height space below. 

  • Also on the mezzanine is an enclosed “beach-hut” style sleeping nook with two single beds, offering a cozy and semi-private space ideal for friends, children, or additional guests. 

Interior & Design 

  • The living area boasts a double-height ceiling, polished concrete floors, concrete block walls, and exposed plywood ceilings & mezzanine flooring, for a striking industrial vibe. 

  • The ground floor walls are clad in aluminium and stainless steel, creating a sleek, contemporary contrast that pairs beautifully with the raw structural materials. 

  • Triple-glazed windows throughout ensure excellent insulation, sound dampening, and energy efficiency. 

  • Designer furniture throughout for a curated, modern aesthetic  

Sustainability & Comfort 

  • This building was rebuilt with sustainable, eco-friendly materials throughout. It features: 

  • Recycled wood-fibre insulation and an airtight building envelope for superior thermal performance 

  • An air-source heat pump supplies efficient heating and hot water 

  • A mechanical-ventilation system with heat recovery (MVHR), delivering a steady flow of fresh, filtered air for a healthy, comfortable environment 

  • Air-tight membrane to remove all drafts and create an exceptional quality of space 

  • Sustainable materials, low-energy lighting, and eco-conscious finishes were used throughout the renovation 

  • Eco-friendly toiletries, cleaning products, and a full recycling setup 

  • A stylish bathroom fitted with pink coloured tiles and contrasting fixtures for a bold, boutique feel
